2021 Audi SQ2 Review, Changes, Specs, Price, Release Date – The Audi SQ2 was renewed before 2021 with new bumpers and additional technology, but no more power. The Audi SQ2 is a more elegant and supposedly more elegant alternative to the VW T-Roc R and Cupra Ateca, although it has never been particularly exciting. A revamped SQ2 will aim to address this issue with a visual overhaul and a handful of new features.
2021 Audi SQ2 Exterior Changes
The older Audi SQ2 looked boxy, but a bit bland. And this new model is not radically different. It comes with a new front bumper with smaller air intakes, a different radiator grille, and a redesigned glossy black trim, but that’s your destiny. There are new dummy vents in the rear bumper, but nothing else is new. The brake lights, roof spoiler, and quad exhaust tips were unchanged.
2021 Audi SQ2 Interior Changes
The interior of the new Audi SQ2 resembles that of the outgoing car, so much so that Audi has decided not to share photos of it. So you get the same standalone infotainment display, large circular air vents, and bright pedal liners. Many S logos will be distributed throughout the cabin, and you get a seated package that offers better support than a regular Q2 with optional Nappa leather upholstery.
The new Audi SQ2 features automatic emergency braking as standard, but the new adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist costs more. LED headlights are standard on all new Audi SQ2s and you can pay more for an even brighter LED Matrix light set with offset indicators.
2021 Audi SQ2 Engine Specs
Under the hood of the new Audi SQ2 is the same 300-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that it had in the previous car. It is equipped with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and the same seven-speed automatic transmission.
That means the new SQ2 will run from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.9 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds slower than the original SQ2 could handle. Its top speed of 155 mph is the same as the old car could handle.
2021 Audi SQ2 price and release date
You can now order the new Audi SQ2 in Europe. It costs the equivalent of £ 40,600, which is more than £ 3,000 more than the outgoing SQ2. When the new car hits showrooms here in early 2021, you can expect it to cost roughly the same price as the European versions across the range.
