2021 Audi SQ5 Review, Changes, Price, Specs, Release Date – Look closely and you’ll see a new S-specific grille and a redesigned rear bumper. Both bumpers have a brushed aluminum effect strip and there is a quartet of very shiny (but also very fake) exhaust tips at the rear. The top-end SQ5 TDI Vorsprung models come with larger 21-inch alloy wheels (20-inch fitted on the standard model) and additional black bumper and mirror trims.

2021 Audi SQ5 Engine Specs

More important changes are being made under the hood of the new SQ5. The 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine has more powerful steel pistons, an improved turbocharger system, and additional cooling, but still produces the same 341 horsepower and 700 Nm as before. As in the old car, there is a mild hybrid system that uses a small electric motor that gives the engine a boost when accelerating. The 0-60 km / h sprint lasts the same 5.1 seconds as before.

The suspension on the Audi SQ5 has been tuned with performance in mind, making it firmer and 30mm lower than that of the standard Q5. Top-of-the-line Vorsprung variants come with a sporty differential at the rear that helps maximize grip when accelerating through a curve.

2021 Audi SQ5 Interior Changes

Interior upgrades include the updated 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen, which runs the new MIB 3 infotainment software and can be controlled via voice commands or buttons on the steering wheel.

The electrically adjustable sports seats feature Nappa leather trims, raised S logos, and contrast stitching. You also get brushed aluminum inlays on the dash and doors as standard, while the SQ5 TDI Vorsprung trims are trimmed with carbon fiber. The Vorsprung trim also adds a front viewing screen, Bang & Olufsen audio system, panoramic glass sunroof, and power steering wheel.

2021 Audi SQ5 Price and Release Date
